iGNITE Youth Group - Be The EXAMPLE!
 Ignite Youth Group is the Teen youth ministry at Faith Christian Center. We   want  our youth to be grounded in Jesus, and to have a personal relationship with Him. 

Our Youth Group Scripture is: "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, BUT set an EXAMPLE for the believers in SPEECH, in CONDUCT, in LOVE, in FAITH, and in PURITY." 1 Timothy 4:12 NIV

This scripture is our road map for being Disciples. We want people to see Jesus in us. We want to Be The EXAMPLE!

Our purpose is found in Matthew 28:18-20  (18) Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority is heaven and on earth has been given to me. (19) Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (20) and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

 When?          Tuesdays 6:30PM to 8:30PM

 Who?             Teens:  13-19 
 What to expect?   Our Teens are are Disciples in training. Tuesday nights start with worship, announcements, a teaching from the Bible, prayer requests & fellowship with snacks for the remainder of our time. 

Community Impact: We know that community is important and we want to be His hands & feet. Our Teens have prepped and served meals to the homeless, raked leaves for those needing assistance, we ring bells for The Salvation Army, serve in our local church as Sunday morning greeters, and much more. We are learning to SEE the NEEDS and take action!

 Bonus!
 The last Tuesday of the month we have fun night! It's important to hang out and do life together. This is where we can put what we learn into action, or encounter new learning opportunities together. Some activities we like to do together:  Culver's, Glow In The Park Mini Golf, Altitude, Bowling, Cook outs, Bonfires, etc. We have been known to have a Lock-In here and there too!!
