Our church will be continuing to have the last Sunday evening of each month as a fellowship night to celebrate the monthly birthdays. We will have a potluck, and are planning to have some fun things such as: have teams and play Farkle, board games, pool tournaments, Bible drills, etc. We will start in October, continue until April, and then start up our cookouts again in May.

A cookout to celebrate the August birthdays will be held on Sunday evening, Aug. 29, at 5 p.m. Please bring a dish to pass and a donation towards the meat, buns, and pop.

We will be having a bake sale on Sept. 12 after the morning service. Please bring baked items all wrapped and ready to sell. We will mark it once you bring it in. All money raised will go towards paying off the Sunday School book bill.

Children’s church will be starting on Sunday evenings, Sept. 12th. Children will go downstairs after the worship service. It will be for 1st through 5th graders.

Our church will be hosting a chili supper for our church and the community on Saturday, Sept. 18 from 4to 6 p.m. Cost will be $3.00 for adults, $1.50 for children ages 4-10, children 3 and under are free. All money raised will go towards paying off the Sunday School material bill. Please invite your relatives, friends and neighbors to come!

We will be holding another car wash on Saturday, Sept. 25 at Pick N Save from 9 a.m to 1:30 p.m. All money raised will go towards the Sunday School bill.

Next weekend is Labor Day weekend, so we will be having a potluck for Sunday evening, Sept 5. We ask everyone to bring a dish to pass; sloppy joes will be the main dish. This will be instead of the Sunday evening service.

Attention all who can knit, crochet, or sew winter scarves, hats, mittens and blankets. We would like to give these items out at our Fall Harvest Party as we “Share the Warmth of His Love.” We would like to get as many items as possible to give out. We would need all items by Oct. 31. You can give them to Dianne or Cathy O. from now until then.

We are again asking for candy donations for the Harvest Party on Oct. 31. We are making up 300 candy bags so we will need lots of candy. You can bring it to church and give it to Dianne or Cathy O.
